ATLANTIC PUFFINS

These puffins were photographed on Machias Seal Island in the Bay of Fundi.

Ownership of the island is contested between the US and Canada. The

Puffin colony here is highly protected with only a limited number of visitors allowed

and only for a limited time. About a 10 mile boat ride from Cutler Maine.
